repair is complete.
The sewage repair at 1527 Walnut Street in Anderson was funded by the founder. Completion was confirmed on August 3, 2026.
What happens next
Walnut is part of a broader effort to assess whether four Indiana properties can remain in affordable housing. The current work is to verify remaining needs, ownership records and an operating plan. Sale alternatives remain under consideration.
Earlier references to three occupied households and a future July repair deadline are outdated. We will publish a current, verified account of needs before collecting new property-specific gifts.
